Project Description
Welton Street Café is the anchor in Denver’s Historic Five Points community. Over the last 36 years, Welton Street Café and the Dickerson family have served Five Points and the Black community. It’s more than just food. For a lot of people, Welton Street Cafe has been home. From employment opportunities to family gatherings, Welton Street Café has been home for those near and far.
The mission at Welton Street Cafe is to remain a pillar of the Historic Five Points neighborhood by nourishing the community, mind, body and spirit, with good food, unity and solidarity.
Their vision is to preserve the cultural identity of the Historic Five Points district by providing their services and space, so families, community members, and leaders can bond, build relationships, and strengthen the community collectively.
Luxpiration worked closely with the whole Dickerson family to refresh the brands look and feel while keeping the brands history and legacy alive. It was an honor to work on the brand identity for such a pillar in the Denver community as people have come near and far to taste the delightful food from this family-owned business, including Guy Fieri who featured the restaurant on his Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives hit TV show.
As WSC has now moved from its original location into a new and modernized build, the new brand identity likewise will catapult the delicious restaurant into a new chapter, extending its reach to new audiences.
